1. What EvenHue is
EvenHue is a cosmetic and grooming service. It reads a photo, coaches your grooming, and points you to products. It is a tool for looking after your skin and your line-up, and that is the whole of it.
Read that disclaimer again, because it is the point. Nothing on this site is medical advice. If something on your skin worries you, if it hurts, spreads, bleeds, or looks like more than grooming, go see a dermatologist or a doctor. EvenHue will tell you the same thing when its read shows something it should not be reading.
2. Affiliate links
Some product links on EvenHue are affiliate links. That means:
EvenHue earns a commission if you buy through this link. Recommendations are based on your scan, not on who pays more.
We disclose this next to the links themselves, not only here, because the FTC expects that and because you deserve to know before you click. The picks follow your scan first. A commission never bumps a product up the list.
3. Subscriptions and billing
The free tier costs nothing. Premium is $9 a month or $69 a year, billed through Stripe. When you subscribe, you authorize the recurring charge until you cancel.
- You can cancel any time through the Stripe customer portal, reachable from your account.
- When you cancel, you keep Premium until the end of the period you already paid for, then you drop back to free.
- Prices can change, and we will tell you before any change hits your plan.
4. Your account
Keep your password to yourself and keep your login details accurate. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at ace@evenhue.com if you think someone else got in.
5. Acceptable use
Use EvenHue for yourself, the way it is meant to be used. Do not:
- Upload a photo of someone who has not agreed to be scanned.
- Scrape, copy, or resell the site's content, scans, or code.
- Try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Use EvenHue to harass anyone or to break the law.
We can suspend an account that abuses the service.
6. Content and ownership
The EvenHue name, logo, brand marks, articles, and scan results are ours or licensed to us. You can read them and use your own scan results for yourself. You cannot repackage the content as your own or sell it. Merch designs and brand marks stay ours.
7. Limitation of liability
EvenHue is provided as is. We work hard to give you an honest, useful read, and we still cannot promise it is perfect or that it fits every skin or situation. To the fullest extent the law allows, EvenHue and its founder are not liable for any loss, harm, or cost that comes from using the site, from acting on a scan, or from a product you bought through a link. Your grooming choices are your own. When in doubt, see a professional.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service grows. The version on this page is the one in effect, with the date noted at the top. Keep using EvenHue and you accept the current terms.
